With school back in session I’m now getting back to my regular routine that I have for the majority of the year. It’s just an important step to start your day off right by establishing a routine that can aid you in taking charge of the day and setting yourself up for success.
Creating a routine can help you stay organized in the chaos, reduce stress, and start feeling better about your accomplishments at the end of the day.
Here are my 6 key morning habits that you can incorporate into your morning routine to get your day off to the best start possible.

Start your day off right by being intentional. And I know how cliche that sounds, but setting an intention for the day is a powerful way to start your morning routine.
By consciously deciding how you want your day to go, you are taking control of your mindset and actions.

2. High-Quality H2O
Bobby Boucher couldn’t have said it any better, starting your day off hydrated is a simple yet effective way to jumpstart your day.
After a night of sleep, your body is naturally dehydrated, so replenishing with water first thing in the morning is essential. Drinking water in the morning has numerous benefits, from boosting your metabolism and aiding digestion to improving your overall brain function.
So before your coffee, before protein shakes, or breakfast smoothies, make sure to drink at least 8oz or water at the beginning of your day.
