Cajun Shrimp Pasta is one of my all-time favorite pasta dishes. It’s easy, it’s yummy, and it’s not chicken or beef which adds a bit of flair to our regular weeknight meal rotations.

What makes this pasta Cajun? The entire dish is seasoned throughout with Cajun-based seasoning.

For my Cajun Seasoning, I combine equal parts: Black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, and a dash of cayenne pepper for some spice.

You can make the seasoning mixture beforehand then use as little or as much as you want to for the dish.

For this Cajun Shrimp Pasta you’ll need:

  • 16oz pasta
  • 1 ½ lbs shrimp, deveined
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp butter, divided
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • Cajun seasoning
