I’m in a Facebook moms group so believe me when I say, there are thousands of mamas across the country wearing leggings, oversized t-shirts, or pajamas all day. And up until recently – I was one of them. Yup. Wearing jeans was only for special occasions.
Now that I’m about 3 months postpartum and my body has gotten pretty much back to “normal” (I say that with quotations because if you know, you know) I have nothing to wear. Add in everything that’s happened these past few years – Covid, back-to-back pregnancies, work office closing shop – my wardrobe has taken a depressing hit. So I told myself this year I would put effort into my appearance because I’m a firm believer that if you look good, you feel good!

Since my closet primarily consists of tons of loungewear and oversized t-shirts, I’ll be shopping for some cute casual clothes to wear even as a work-from-home mama as well as the occasion much-needed date night outfits.
Back to square one of rebuilding my closet and most importantly doing it on a budget. Don’t forget we got a wedding to plan y’all!
My goal is to periodically add to my closet outfits I find on sale or at really good prices that will give me the aesthetic I’m going for. And who would I be as a newly founded blogger if I didn’t share them with you?!
I’ve already ordered a few things online (because busy mamas like us shop online) that I’ll be sharing in an upcoming blog so make sure to be on the lookout. Until then mamas, I encourage everyone to start their day off right by lookin’ good to feel good!
